Following the great success of the first competition in 2007, Strathclyde Police Pipe Band was delighted to present the second annual Junior Piping Competition which took place on 23 February, 2008. In partnership with Glasgow City Council, Strathclyde Police promoted the event which was conceived by our bass drummer Alan McGeachie with the aim of bringing young people in the piping community closer to Strathclyde Police.
